Built on Family Heritage & Technical Excellence

Founded in 2004, HCL Interiors combines multi-generational building heritage with in-house engineering precision across Central London and the Home Counties.

Two Decades of Building Excellence

From Family Heritage to Commercial Leadership

HCL Interiors (registered as HCL Fit Outs, Company Number: 05081494) was founded in 2004 to build upon the Holloway family’s deep construction roots in London. Managing Director Jamie Holloway assumed leadership from his father two decades ago, transitioning the firm from residential renovations into a comprehensive commercial design-and-build contractor.

A pivotal evolution came in 2016 when Equity Partner Anthony Murphy joined HCL. Together, Jamie and Anthony established the company's dedicated in-house Mechanical and Electrical (M&E) division, eliminating the standard industry reliance on fragmented third-party subcontractors.

Today, HCL has delivered more than 150 successful commercial fit-outs and refurbishments for institutional landlords, co-working operators, tech leaders (including Taboola), and iconic leisure venues (such as Ministry of Sound). Operating from our Clerkenwell office at 29 Clerkenwell Road, we maintain a central operations hub capable of mobilizing 60+ site operatives and 30+ M&E engineers at a moment’s notice.
